Diploma in Cardiovascular Technology (DCVT)

The aim of the course is to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac (Heart) and peripheral vascular (blood vessel) ailments. Cardiovascular technologists and technicians schedule appointments, perform ultrasound  or cardiovascular procedures, review doctors' interpretations and patient files, and monitor patients' heart rates.

Duration                     :           Two years

Eligibility                    :           Pass in +2 (plus two) or its equivalent with 40% marks

                                                aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, 5% relaxation

                                                for SC/ST students.

Age Limit                   :           17 – 35 years.

Selection Procedure  :           As per the norms of DME and Kerala Paramedical Council
